What to Expect

The San Francisco Signal Youth Council brings together the next generation of leaders who believe volleyball can make a difference.

As part of the SF Signal Youth Council, these students help shape the fan experience, connect with professional athletes and team leaders, serve their communities, and represent the future of volleyball in the Bay Area. Over the coming season, members will:

1

Help shape community events and fan experiences at our pro matches.

2

Develop leadership skills alongside the rest of the inaugural class.

3

Volunteer at clinics, community initiatives, and other special events.

4

Meet SF Signal pro athletes, owners, and team leaders.

5

Represent the SF Signal throughout the Bay Area and at home matches.

Who They Are

Built for the next generation

The inaugural class brings together 25 students in grades 6 through 12 who play volleyball across the Bay Area and care about leadership, service, and the future of the game.

They come from eight counties — San Francisco, Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Napa, and Sonoma — and from club programs, high school varsity squads, and middle school teams across the region.

What's Next

This is just the first serve.

Our inaugural class gets to work this season — at clinics, in the community, and on the floor when the Signal debut in January 2027. Applications for the next class open in 2027.
